Marathon II Lite is denser, darker green, finer leafed and slower growing than previous generations. It can be mowed shorter resulting in a more compact carpet-like appearance. Its slower growth rate results in significantly lower clipping yield which, in turn, lowers disposal volume. Mowing frequency may also be reduced, particularly during cooler seasons. Marathon II Lite contains “Shortcut” which is our proprietary variety developed through a cooperative research program. Delivery San Bernardino, San Diego, and Riverside are delivered on Tues, Thurs, and Saturday only. LA, Orange, and Ventura County are delivered Tues – Saturday. | |
